Get clear on the what, the how, the when and the who. Identify your leadership growth edge - the knowledge, skills, actions and behaviors that are most relevant and valuable for you to focus on over the next 3-6 months. Then ensure you have alignment with your lead or coaching sponsor.
You don't need to be perfect but consciously practicing will help you develop. Use your life as a laboratory for learning. Set intentions for upcoming behaviors, role play with your coach, take action, and reflect on what went well, what could have gone better, and what you will do differently next time. You can even ask your coach to shadow you and observe you in action.
